The Coffee Company was born in 2019 from a simple belief: coffee should bring people together. What started as a vision with our founder, to create a welcoming space in downtown Des Moines has grown into a mission — to serve not only exceptional coffee, but also to build community, spark conversations, and create opportunities.

We know that coffee is never “just coffee.” It’s the early morning motivation before a busy day, the fuel for big ideas, or the reason friends sit down and talk a little longer. That’s why we’re passionate about sourcing our beans from some of the most respected regions in the world, from Africa to Mexico and beyond. Each cup is crafted with care, representing our dedication to quality, culture, and connection.
